I come from the roots of the party in the Labor struggle of the 1930s. Dad and Grandpa were both active. But later I drifted leftward into Greenpeace and the environmental movement. Since the Reagan-Bush 1,2 disaster, I no longer think there is any choice except to oppose the oligarchy of wealth. That is why I am a Democrat, presently an Obama supporter.
