I am a lifelong democrat as were my parents. Loved Obama and Bernie and canvassed for both. As a neurologist in the inner city of Detroit I saw firsthand how our health care system is broken for the less fortunate. Was greatly influenced by a book I read in college called Blaming the Victim. I'm in despair these days with Trumpism. I'm so worried about where this country is headed.
