Had to become a Democrat in Self-Defense. In past decades, I considered myself an Independent and voted for the person, but since the Reagan era, I had to become a Democrat in Self-Defense. The current "Republican" party seems to be nothing but radical extremists, who cater to Corporations. They want to keep everyone poor and are way too "Patriotic" and "Religious" (to the point of being rabid) They complain about "Big Government" and how the Obama Adm. is "taking away their rights" while they sat through the 8 years of gw bush and voted for illegal wars, spent trillions of dollars on them, and sat by while bush initiated illegal wire tapping. They liked his Criminal Cabinet (Many of whom are now in prison) but they can't stand having a bi-racial President who is trying to clean up the mess from the bush fiasco.
