I follow the news and like to talk about politics and cultural events. I can talk about most anything and I can see how things relate to each other - or not. I like facts and discussing ideas. I love to laugh and will laugh at anything, including myself. If I laugh at you - its a good thing. I like baseball, but really have no interest in football... or ice fishing.

I'd like to meet someone who is very smart, able to hold a conversation and can play nice. I like to kiss. I'm not looking for perfection. I'm certainly not looking for crazy or disease. Compassion, honesty, a brain... these things make my knees wobble.

Thoughtfulness is sexy. Really.

I want to be in a relationship where I can say anything to my partner and he can say anything to me. Even if it is painful. The realist in me understands that my partner and I will get annoyed with each other, will disagree and will fight� to some degree. The romantic in me wants to believe that if we love each other, we could work through difficult periods and the other�s moodiness.

Home, for me, has more to do with a partner and that relationship. Home is laughter, intimacy and conversation. The kind laughter will allow me to not take things so seriously. The kind of intimacy which is fun and allows for vulnerability and growth. And the kind of conversation that rarely becomes boring. I want my partner and I to have a genuine interest in each other, in what we�re doing and what we want to do. I want to encourage him and care for him. I want to make breakfast for him. Sometimes.

I do not date artists or republicans. As someone who has a masters degree in fine art, I do not believe art is the answer to everything. As a liberal, I simply cannot reason republican logic.
