As an American living in England for the last 25 years, I have come to appreciate the British way of life, liberal values and its rich history and culture. However, I still miss America and believe that there is no place like home. I feel passionate about keeping the Democrats in power and I believe there is so much to be done to defeat the politics of hatred and greed that still dominates American politics. Would love to meet a like-minded person, who feels passionately about the environment, obtaining universal healthcare for all Americans, getting rid of guns and generally making America a more tolerant society. I know it is all a bit idealistic however just want to find someone to join me in doing our little bit to try to make this world a better place.
