I've never been that political but its getting to be impossible not to take a stand. I'm not sure I agree with everything that the democratic party believes in but I know republicans aren't the answer. I know you're supposed to focus on good qualities in essays like this but I believe in honesty so I'm going to start with some potentially unpleasant surprises up front. I have a not so secret passion for NASCAR. I can be fairly lazy and housekeeping is definitely not my strong suit, so neat freaks need not apply. Likewise for cooking (the pizza delivery place sends me a monthly bill), yardwork and home repairs. If you're looking for someone to fix the garbage disposal, its probably not me. I'm generally cautious and tend to plan too much, but I'm not totally incapable of spontenaity. I'm not very good with conflict (got the tread marks to prove it) and sometimes have trouble expressing my emotions (i.e I'm a guy). Rest assured, there's more flaws, but I want to leave room for some good points.

Speaking of which, I'm well educated (can bore people with Shakespeare quotations), reasonably attractive and in good shape. I'm cheerful, optimistic and like to look for the best in any situation or person. There's little in life I hate more than hurting someone and I even have a hard time being rude to telemarketers. Nothing really gets me upset and I absolutely refuse to take myself too seriously. I am basically a stereotypical nice guy and lead a predictable, stable life. I'm a happy and well adjusted person. My ideal woman would be openminded, intelligent, witty, fit and patient because those are the qualities I like to think describe me. Your mileage may vary, especially the witty part! I'm looking for someone to have fun with, learn with, and do all those things that I never felt like doing by myself. If it turns into something serious, I'd welcome that but I am not in a rush.
