I can't tollerate opression in any form I am intelligent, funny, loyal, and independent not to mention a great cook.
I am a Christian Liberal. I am a liberal because I am a Christian. I am tired of the Right highjacking my Jesus and using it to increase its power to opress and abuse. There are many things I may not desire personally, but that does not give me the right to opress other's ability to do so.
My interests are rather ecclectic and range from crime TV to art and ballet. I love to read, write and have long conversations.
I have two fantastic, grown sons who are both working their way through college.
I have a rather bizzarre sense of humor that has been known to get me into trouble on occasion--but don't worry you can introduce me to your family. I can be very girly and ladylike but I do like to fish and will even bait my own hook. I am politically liberal but socially conservative. I am loyal, honest and generous to a fault.
I believe in Christanity, the blessed freedom of being an American (and the responsibility of the individual that accompanies that freedom), the sacredness of friendship, and the beauty of seeing miracles in everyday life.
