Is there any intelligent life here in Geee-or-juh? I'm just one of those staunch Northerners who doesn't get the whole red state thing. Most of the people in Georgia who vote Republican have no idea that they are shooting themselves in the foot. I think that as a society we have a responsibility to make sure that basic human needs are met without regard to "what's in your wallet". Healthcare comes to mind. If that makes me a socialist, so be it. But I think it speaks very badly of our society that we do not take care of our most disenfranchised citizens. Don't even get me started.
